Steno Named Finalist for Best App for the Business of Law in Clio Integration Awards 2026

Steno was named a finalist in the 2026 Clio Integration Awards, in the Best App for the Business of Law category.

The Clio Integration Awards celebrate the apps pushing legal technology forward and finding new ways to help legal professionals work smarter. We’re excited to be on that list, and even more excited about helping to address the problem that Steno’s integration with Clio Manage solves.

Before the integration, an attorney managing a matter in Clio who needed to book a deposition had to leave Clio Manage, log into a separate provider portal, book the job, and carry the details back to the matter by hand. It’s a small detour, but for attorneys and paralegals, the unbillable administrative work adds up over time.

What Steno on Clio Manage Does

  • Books jobs inside the matter. Upload the notice of deposition, select the services you need, and you’re done in under 20 seconds. That covers court reporting, videography, interpreters, and other litigation support services.
  • Shows live job status. Every Steno job on a linked matter appears in Clio as a booking request, booked, in progress, completed, or canceled, alongside the job date, time, type, witness name, and services ordered.
  • Delivers files where the case lives. Transcripts, video, audio, and exhibit files are available inside the Clio matter so no one has to dig through email or other platforms.

A firm simply selects “Request access” in Clio, and Steno’s operations team handles the rest. The integration carries no additional fee and is included with a Steno account.

More than 100 law firms now run their Steno litigation support through the integration, and most are solo practitioners or small practices. Those firms absorb coordination work themselves, without dedicated operations staff. The integration gives them a workflow that would otherwise take that staff to maintain.

Steno was founded on the simple idea that deposition services shouldn’t be an obstacle when you’re trying to win a case. Putting litigation support inside the system where attorneys already manage their matters is that idea applied to the daily workflow.

Thank you to Clio for building a platform worth building on, and to the firms that book with us through it every day.
